RE letter of M Hobbs 'Wave a hand or they won't stop.' I agree – but sometimes they have no choice, especially at the last stop behind Primark in the Haymarket. Too many buses are allocated to that stop and they back up as far as the 'Park & Ride' stop, but often they just have to go past despite passengers leaping out between parked buses to try and hail them. That is not an option for the disabled or people with children.
Perhaps a planner from First Bus would like to try using that stop in rush hours.
