Go behind the lens with The Bristol Festival of Photography

The month long festival has events and shows running across the city, featuring exhibitions from award winning photographers, a brand new photography competition and the chance for everyone to get behind the lens and start snapping.

Headlining at the festival are photographers Zed Nelson and Paolo Woods. Zed Nelson's show 'Hackney – A Tale of Two Cities' looks at the contrasts between rich and poor in one of London's diverse boroughs, while Paolo Woods documents the force which is Haitian radio and its importance to for both entertainment and communication.

Organiser Sarah Macfarlane talks to Pamela Parkes about some of the highlights of Bristol's fastest growing festival.
